The average time between the beginning of collecting documents to receiving the residence card is 2-3 months. It mostly depends on how quickly you can collect all the documents. We quickly submit them and usually wait for a response for up to 30 days, if there are no additional requests from the immigration office. If they appear, we will assist you in responding swiftly.
A residence permit is provided for 3 years when applying from within Spain, or for 1 year when applying through the consulate of your home country. Once it expires, it can be extended. After 5 years of residence in Spain on the Digital Nomad Visa, you can get a permanent residence permit. After 10 years of residence in Spain, you can apply for citizenship.
The main applicant can receive no more than 20% of income from within Spain, otherwise there may be difficulties with extending the residence permit.
If you:

- miss the deadlines for legal stay in Spain or extending your documents;
- had a criminal record in the last 2 years.
